Mass media refers collectively to all media technologies, including the Internet, television, newspapers, film and radio, which are used for mass communications, and to the organizations which control these technologies.
One media in which I am intrigued by is the media of music. The key area in which I am especially interested in is Jazz/Blues music and how it made an significant impact on the music that we currently listen to now as it made its way from the 19th - 20th century to become Americas most common type of music.
As i have discovered this my main issue is how it was portrayed in the media to many multi-cultural forms of music varying from Afro-Cuban, Funk, and hip-hop
