Sinéad Short Film (Within temptation)

This film is called Sinéad Short Film (Within temptation) which is about a woman gone crazy as she ends up killing her own father. Immidiately a voice over starts to narrate how the person's feelings and any past may be discovered to the audience through this, with objects moving in reverse order following the past events such as gun, bullets etc demonstrated to us in slow motion emphasises the slowness of the event. A slow piano is heard in the background is also used to set the scene and build tension towards the couple. Why the women kills her family member as she is accused for stealing is ambiguous leaving the audience questions as of why she is doing this. Also the effect of rain is heard in the background emphasising that it has not been a good day and uses pathetic fallacy to also set the scene which is ironic of the murder inside. Many cutterways such as the picture of her families before in contrast as she cannot see her little daughter as of then she is sent away. This asks us a host of questions such as why would she go to that extent of killing her father?, why did she leave her daughter?, etc, makes it a very good short film.
